Yoshiko Yamaguchi, CFA
Yoshiko Yamaguchi, CFA, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Soya Japan, a strategic consulting firm founded in 2022 that connects U.S. institutional investors and asset owners with Japanese financial institutions, corporations, and government entities. Yoshiko works extensively with both General Partners (GPs) and Limited Partners (LPs), mainly focusing on alternative investments including private credit, private equity, hedge funds, and real assets. She advises GPs on strategy, investor relations, and fundraising, while supporting LPs in sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring investment opportunities.Scott Treacy, CFA
Scott Treacy has over 15 years of experience in capital markets working with institutional investors, currently serving as an Senior Associate of US Institutional Relations at Campion Capital in New York City. A CFA charterholder, an active member of the CFA Society New York, and most recently was a part of the Nominations Committee for the Board of Directors at CFA Society New York.
Before joining Campion Capital in April 2024, Scott spent a decade working as a Research Consultant (with Confluence Technologies), where he provided research on the US pension fund marketplace, and authored multiple memos. He also brings valuable global perspective to his work, having previously served as an Institutional Portfolio Specialist for Brandes Investment Partners in Geneva, Switzerland, working with institutional clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Originally from the suburbs of Boston and an avid Boston Celtics fan, Scott earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tufts University, where he honed his leadership skills as co-captain of the football team in his senior year. He also holds his SIE, Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 FINRA licenses.
Today, Scott lives in New York City with his wife and two sons. When he isn’t analyzing investment portfolios or engaging with clients, he enjoys staying active through running, hiking, and playing basketball.
Christopher Nutt, CFA

As Vice Co-Chair of the CFA Institute Alternative Investments Community, Christopher brings more than two decades of senior leadership across the full spectrum of private markets and alternative investments. A charterholder of the CFA Institute (CFA), CAIA Association (CAIA), and the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors (CIRA), he is a member of JPMorgan Chase’s Special Credits Group and has previously served in senior roles including Global Head of Alternatives Risk, Risk Director and Senior Workout Officer, and Head of Portfolio Risk and Restructuring at leading asset management and investment banking firms. His experience includes leading complex restructuring and liability management transactions across structured credit, institutional lending, private credit, real estate, and opportunistic capital strategies. Christopher’s transactional background spans Chapter 11 restructurings, Section 363 asset sales, cross-border distressed M&A, rescue financings, and negotiated out-of-court settlements across North America, EMEA, APAC, and Latin America, providing the community with a practitioner’s perspective that bridges investment theory with real-world capital structure complexity.
In this leadership capacity, Christopher is committed to advancing the global CFA community’s understanding of alternative asset classes, including leveraged finance, private credit, structured finance, real estate debt and equity, infrastructure, and other classic “alternative” strategies, as well as emerging frontiers still being defined and calibrated. Equally important, he emphasizes the governance, risk management and analytical frameworks that underpin these investments. Drawing on graduate training from the MS in Risk Management program at New York University Stern School of Business, the Private Markets and Alternative Investments Certificate from the CFA Institute, and executive education through Harvard Business School Online, he focuses on equipping CFA members with the analytical rigor, governance insight, and market intelligence required to navigate an increasingly complex and rapidly evolving private markets landscape. His work prioritizes advancing next-generation portfolio oversight tools, strengthening risk architecture supporting alternative investment platforms, and expanding practitioner-focused education, helping ensure the CFA community remains at the forefront of alternative investment practice, institutional risk governance, and professional development.
