*Professional members must have over 4 years of work experience and ongoing commitment to the profession if you have over four years of Acceptable Professional Work Experience and have passed Level III, you should contact membership@nyssa.org for assistance applying with CFA Institute to become a CFA charterholder.

If boxes below do not allow enough room to establish over four years of Acceptable Professional Work Experience” please submit this form and also email a recent copy of your CV or bio to membership@nyssa.org. For a definition of Acceptable Professional Work Experience you may consult section 1.6.1 of the NYSSA Bylaws

Professional Conduct Statement
*Note to Applicant:

Professional  membership is designed at NYSSA for industry peers of CFA charterholders who exemplify accomplishment and integrity. It does not include membership in CFA Institute itself and does not include voting rights. However, it includes most of the other benefits of membership that CFA charterholders receive at NYSSA. NYSSA is one of the oldest and largest CFA Societies in the world.

Those with over four years of Acceptable Professional Work Experience who have not yet passed Level III or those who have passed Level III.

If you have over four years of Acceptable Professional Work Experience and have passed Level III, you should contact membership@nyssa.org for assistance applying with CFA Institute to become a CFA charterholder.

If you have more than one or less than four years of applicable work experience and have not passed Level III, please apply as a CFA Candidate NYSSA member.

NYSSA expects all attendees to comply with NYSSA’s Code of Conduct while attending NYSSA events or meetings. NYSSA expressly reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to grant or deny access to any individual, or to expel any individual from any NYSSA event or meeting.
