The 3rd Annual CFANY Future Leaders Session was held on Oct 6, 2016 at CFANY and provided a forum for CFANY members to get acquainted with the governance changes at CFANY and meet the current leadership team. Through this session, members were given details on how they can get involved in the mission and vision of CFANY through direct representation on the elected Board of Directors or through various leadership programs.
The program was kicked off by Daniel Dagen, CFANY CEO, who described the growth in membership, engagement and programming quality at CFANY in the past year. The panel that followed was moderated by Deepika Sharma, who is the Vice-Chair, Global Investing Thought Leadership Group. The panel discussion started with an overview of governance changes given by Chris Cutler, who’s the Chair of the Nominations Committee and is also on the Board at CFANY. Other Board members on the panel, Robert Discolo and Drianne Benner. talked about what inspired them to apply to join the CFANY leadership and their responsibilities.
