Biography
Roy Cohen, career coach and author, is considered one of the country's leading experts on Wall Street career management and leadership development. For almost 14 years, he served as Goldman Sachs' sole provider of career and outplacement support. His book, The Wall Street Professional's Survival Guide, was released in June 2010 by Financial Times Press. It is the only career resource for people who work on Wall Street or for those who want to, and it has been generating enormous positive attention. Cohen has appeared several times on the Today Show, Good Day NY, Fox Business, Gayle King Radio, Bloomberg TV, and CNN, and was featured in the July 2009 issue of Money Magazine (cover story). He is quoted often in the press including: The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Money Magazine, New York Times, The New York Post, Forbes, Fortune, Newsday, US News, Crain's, and CareerBuilder, etc. In addition to an active private practice advising both individuals and companies, Cohen is a frequent speaker on a range of career topics. He holds an MBA from Columbia, a master's in counseling from Colgate, and an undergraduate degree from Cornell.
Beverly R. Daniel, MS, MBA, founder of the CareerGrowth Group, is a well-known business executive and management consultant in the human capital development and management field. She has spoken and lectured throughout the US on the topics she knows best from over 25 years of experience in career management and development, executive coaching, executive search, and leadership development and leadership training. In more recent years, she began coaching executives and management-level professionals, particularly investment bankers and hedge fund managers. Currently, her clients are professionals in the midst of career changes, as well as professionals reaching to attain new levels of success in their chosen fields. Two years ago, she expanded her practice to help entrepreneurs develop strategic business plans and marketing (new business) plans. Now she provides consulting to professional societies and their staff members. Previously, she served as an executive search consultant to numerous clients from major Fortune 500 companies. Daniel holds a BS and MS in psychological counseling. She holds an MBA in management from Stern School of Business, New York University.
Daniel Greenhaus provides clients with frequent commentary on a host of market and economic related developments. Prior to joining BTIG, Greenhaus spent the last few years as Miller Tabak’s chief economic strategist where he was responsible for crafting the firm’s macro views on the global economy and marketplace. Greenhaus is a frequent commentator on Fox Business, Bloomberg TV, and CNBC and is often quoted in major national publications including the New York Times, LA Times, Investor's Business Daily, and Wall Street Journal. Prior to joining Miller Tabak, Greenhaus was employed by Credit Suisse First Boston in the high yield research department and before that, Bear Stearns. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Buffalo, a master’s degree in finance and investments from Baruch College, and is a member of both the National Association for Business Economics and the New York Society of Security Analysts.
Simon Lewis is the managing director of the Banking and Financial Services practice for Coleridge & Valmore in North America based in New York with over 15 years of experience in executive search with the last eight years in New York. He graduated from University of Reading with BSc Hons in human geography and was recruited to Michael Page in 1994. He successfully recruited professionals in the credit and structured finance market in London. In 1998, he moved to Hong Kong to develop the investment banking and private equity business for the firm. From 2001–2003, he was based in Japan to set up the Tokyo office of Michael Page International, where he focused on recruiting professionals in the private equity and real estate investment management. Lewis specializes in the recruitment of director and managing director roles in investment banking and commercial banking in New York, Stamford, and Houston.
