Securitized assets comprise some of the largest and most important financial markets. Attain a solid foundation of the securitization process and the wide variety of accompanying products.

In this course, you will: 

  • Examine the intricacies of modeling and valuation of securitized products such as mortgage-backed, asset-backed, and collateralized debt obligations (CDOs).

  • Analyze cash flow distribution of mortgage-backed securities (MBS), collateralized mortgage obligations (CMO), interest-only and principal-only (IO/PO) strips, and commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS).

  • Identify the accompanying implications for pricing, spread analysis, and prepayments. 

  • Pinpoint the risk factors, pricing, and valuation challenges of the constantly evolving securitization landscape.
