Before you can crunch data and build effective models, you need to master the basics of Excel. Focusing on the essential features in Excel will build the skills required to utilize more advanced techniques and leverage the product’s full spectrum of features.
In this course, you will:

Learn relevant financial formulas, proper navigation, formatting of files and worksheets, creating calculations in cells, and linking between tabs (worksheets).

Review functions and tools including mathematical, financial, logic, date/time formulas; data manipulation; anchoring; data tables; and building a capstone model (emphasis will be on using shortcut keys, simplifying steps, and manipulating data).

Walk away with techniques you can use immediately, allowing you to work faster and with less effort and more accuracy.
Prerequisite: Some proficiency in Excel is required.

Note: Bring your PC laptop with Microsoft Excel installed and a CD-ROM drive. Mac applications may not be as effective.
