The New York Society of Security Analysts introduced the Investment
Research Challenge (IRC) seven years ago as a means to promote best
practices in research among the next generation of analysts. The IRC is
a six-month educational initiative in which leading industry
professionals teach business and finance students how to research and
report on a publicly traded company.
Sponsorship of the Investment Research Challenge allows firms the
opportunity to help NYSSA promote best practices in research to the next
generation of analysts while providing them exposure to students at the
top business schools and future leaders in the investment world.
Sponsors receive exposure to the students through promotion at a series
of events, direct email contact, and other marketing techniques.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Student Research Provider – Sponsors can make
their research program available to students and faculty advisors
participating in the IRC. This free access also features a live training
session with the students where the sponsor can demo the product and
highlight features and tools the students can use when performing
research. During the research process, sponsors can e-mail the students
“Tips” highlighting the product or provide a schedule to
help the students organize their time.
General Sponsor – Sponsors will be listed on all
marketing materials associated with the IRC. They will also be able to
attend each IRC-related event and provide promotional materials to the
students, faculty, and other participants. Sponsors can e-mail the
students during the Challenge with offers on products or services.
