A skilled, top-notch financial analyst must be able to efficiently perform detailed data analysis. Acquire the advanced Excel tools that will streamline your process and enable you to conduct more in-depth analysis. Learn more efficient ways to apply commonly used formulas; discover often overlooked Excel formulas; analyze data using functions such as pivot tables, look-up, subtotals, and regression analysis; maximize Excel functions with arrays and complex SUMIF construction; enhance your spreadsheets with drop boxes, data validation, and automated alternate row shading; and more. You will leave the class able to leverage advanced features of Microsoft Excel for improved analysis and increased efficiency. Bring your PC laptop with Microsoft Excel installed and a CD-ROM drive. Mac applications may not be as effective.
