NYSSA’s Improved Corporate Reporting Committee presents

4th Annual XBRL Conference

Using XBRL for Investment Research
and Analysis

XBRL—or eXtensible Business Reporting Language—is fast becoming the new standard for the exchange of financial information, both for regulatory and research reports. The RIXML organization has adopted XBRL for use in Wall Street research reports and this year, the SEC will be making a decision regarding the mandated use of XBRL for regulatory filings.

XBRL is a new technical standard format for the electronic communication of business information which individually tags all of the numbers and content items in a financial report using a standardized format to allow for hyper-detailed automated analysis and comparison of financial reports without the need for re-keying of information. XBRL is revolutionizing financial reporting by enabling timely, efficient, accurate, inexpensive, and comprehensive financial analysis.

Learn how you can use XBRL in your investment research and analysis process through discussions, presentations and live demonstrations. Discover how to improve your everyday tasks, including accessing and analyzing information from corporate filings, earnings releases, and research reports to perform advanced research and comparative analytics.

This event is targeted towards professional buy- and sell-side equity analysts, research directors, portfolio managers, and corporate finance reporting personnel, but is open to any interested parties.

A reception with food and drink hosted by the RIXML organization will directly follow the event.

Visit www.xbrl.org for more information about XBRL.
