How to Analyze a 10(k)

Don’t make the mistake of going directly to the numbers and not reading the details of a company’s form 10(k).  Build the knowledge base and practice the skills you need to prepare and review Form 10‑K.

In this course, you will:

  • Gain a greater understanding of accounting and financial statement concepts
  • Identify and examine the key components of a 10(k) SEC filing.
  • Become more efficient by focusing on the management discussion, financial condition, and results
  • Identify critical information disclosed within the countless footnotes.

Note: You will work in small groups to compare and contrast several 10(k)s, then analyze and present the results. Feedback, interaction and hands-on projects will reinforce the concepts and hard skills.

Who should attend? Financial managers, investors, research analysts, credit and financial analysts.
