Integrated Financial Modeling—Core Model

Take your modeling skills to the next level and gain a deeper understanding of financial modeling methodologies, techniques and approaches. Guided by your instructor, you will learn how to build a fully integrated financial statement projection model. Walk away with a fully constructed model that can be customized and applied to other companies.

In this course, you will:

  • Find out how to do income statement projections
  • Create a self-balancing balance sheet
  • Build an automated cash flow statement
  • Balance a cash flow statement
  • Balance a cash flow sweep/debt schedule
  • Auto balance the model without plugs
  • Integrate the model via interest
  • Control for circular references and best practices 

Note: Bring your PC laptop with Microsoft Excel installed and a CD-ROM drive. Mac applications may not be as effective.

Prerequisites: Proficiency using Excel, knowledge of basic accounting ratios, and an understanding of how the major financial statements are interrelated.
