Advanced Excel for Data Analysis

Any skilled financial analyst on top of his or her game needs to be able to efficiently execute detailed data analysis. This course will teach you advanced Excel tools that will streamline your process and enable you to conduct more in-depth analyses with sophisticated number crunching. Leverage the capabilities of Excel for maximum efficiency and improved analysis.

In this course, you will:

  • Develop more efficient ways to apply commonly used formulas
  • Discover often overlooked Excel formulas
  • Analyze data using functions such as pivot tables, look-up, subtotals, and regression analysis
  • Maximize Excel functions with arrays and complex SUMIF construction
  • Enhance your spreadsheets with drop boxes, data validation, and automated alternate row shading and more

Note: Bring your PC laptop with Microsoft Excel installed and a CD-ROM drive. Mac applications may not be as effective.

Prerequisite:  Intermediate proficiency using Excel.
