Segment Build-up and Sensitivity Financial Modeling
Integrate detailed revenue and segment build-ups into your larger
financial model. Examine various approaches to true, bottoms-up,
fundamental analysis, from both an “account-by-account” and
“business segment” basis. Delve into detailed business
segment build-ups and operating and division segment build-ups. Analyze
and break down growth and incorporate its effect from non-core items
such as foreign exchange rate fluctuations. Calculate and analyze
different operating segments as reported in public filings to roll-up
into the income statement. Extract, utilize and incorporate volume and
pricing increases into operating segment performance. Estimate and
forecast future revenue and segment income and allocate for corporate
overhead. Project sources of segment revenue based on growth in accounts
and customers. Model revenue per account and associated commissions and
expenses and incorporate rate increases as well as sensitivity and
scenario analysis into the model.
Note: Bring your PC laptop with Microsoft Excel
installed and a CD-ROM drive. Mac applications may not be as
effective.
