NYSSA's Career Committee presents
Career Chat:
Careers in Corporate Development and Strategy
The CEO and senior management team rely heavily on various advisors
to capitalize on opportunities and create value for their organizations.
These internal and external teams of advisors include Corporate
Development and Strategy, and Investment Bankers. These key advisors
help senior management determine the optimal path to profitability,
whether organic, through alliance/partnership, joint venture or
M&A.
M&A rationale and approach also varies significantly, with some
firms focusing on strategic and operational metrics while others act as
financial sponsors. In today’s global economy, the landscape for
strategic buyers continues to evolve with tightening credit conditions
and changing industry valuations.
Our panel of professionals will offer their expert opinions on these
topics as well as key trends, case studies and insights into their
careers. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to learn about strategic
buyer perspectives and opportunities for career development.
